Notifications, background tasks, automatic synchronization or alarms do not work correctly for “AppBlock” on your Honor 7?


  1. Open the “Phone Manager” on your device.
  2. Swipe from the right to the left to show the next screen.
  3. At the bottom center, choose “Protected apps”.
  4. Find “AppBlock” in the list of apps.
  5. Next to “AppBlock”, make sure the switch is turned on, i.e. with its knob or handle at the right.
  6. Leave by pressing ○ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.

  3. Tap on “Protected apps”.

  8. Select “Allow”.
  9. At the bottom right, tap on “OK”.

  6. Find “AppBlock” in the list of apps.
  7. Next to “AppBlock”, make sure the switch is turned on, i.e. with its knob or handle at the right.
  8. Leave by pressing ○ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.

  11. Next to “Roaming data”, make sure the switch is turned on, i.e. with its knob or handle at the right.
  12. Leave by pressing ○ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.

  1. There are many apps on the app store which claim to boost performance, free up space, save battery, or optimize the RAM of your device. However, these apps interfere with other apps, like “AppBlock”, and prevent them from working correctly.
  2. If you have any app like “Clean Master”, “Security Master”, “Task Manager”, “Phone Cleaner”, “Super Cleaner”, “Power Clean”, “DU Cleaner”, “DU Speed Booster”, “CCleaner”, “AVG Cleaner”, “Avast Cleanup” or “Norton Clean”, check that it doesn’t block or terminate “AppBlock”.
  3. If unsure, consider uninstalling the app claiming to “clean” or “boost” your device.

  1. If you’ve made any changes based on the advice above and you’ve adjusted the settings of your device, proceed with the next step. Otherwise, there’s nothing left for you to do.
  2. Restart your device once. You can either choose the “Restart” option directly, if available, or turn off your device, wait a few seconds, and then turn it on again manually.
